MEDFORD LAKES WOMEN'S CLUB
CANOE CARNIVAL
A Medford Lakes Tradition!
August 5th
Since 1931, Canoe Carnival has been held during the first week of every August on Lower Aetna Lake. Elaborate floats, built with a maximum of two canoes, are paddled by crowds gathered along the lake.
Miss and Mr. Medford Lakes Pageant
Your favorite 15-18 year old colonist vie for the honor to be crowned the King and Queen of Canoe Carnival! The Miss and Mr. Medford Lakes Pageant is typically held at Beach 3 but can be held at Neeta School if the weather is inclement. Please keep an eye out on the Colony News to find out how to vote. Every Colony member is entitled to one vote.
Canoe Carnival Dance Party
Kick off a fun-filled Canoe Carnival week by attending the Canoe Carnival Ball at Medford Lakes Country Club
Tickets will be $25.00 per person or $45.00 couple or $50 at the door. Advanced tickets can purchased starting in July at the Medford Lakes Colony Office.
Mardi Gras Night
Grab your canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, and paddleboats! All Lakers are welcome to float on Lower Aetna and get a sneak peak of what each float group has been working on all summer. Lakefront houses are decorated to the nines with lights! Local bands are also hanging on the lake playing some great music!
Canoe Carnival Night
THIS IS THE BIG NIGHT...NIGHT THAT ALL GROUPS HAVE BEEN WORKING TOWARDS ALL SUMMER!
Truly a sight to be seen. Medford Lakes float groups DO NOT DISAPPOINT and launch their floats for all to see. Floats can be seen from lower and upper Aetna (seats purchased at Beach 1).
